Fashion Art

"The history of Fashion tells us how much the art of adorning ourselves has accompanied a lot of the changes in society. Precisely for its ability to be preemptive and avant-garde is why I see Fashion as Art. I like to observe present day and historic feminine figures, retracing the mutation and emancipation, allowing me be inspired to create small collections of unique pieces”.

2016 Factory uniform
Women working in factories between the two World Wars strongly inspired this collection. Iconographic research of images of women, particularly in those years show women employed in factories who replaced the men at war. They worked in factories for armaments such as Boeing; women wore coveralls with particular buttoning details, work uniforms that showed of the female shape and that have nothing to do with the mortifying esthetics of women working in factories today.
